Instead of having to watch your 5th or 6th bowlers & part timers dart we should remove the restriction of a bowler bowling max 10 overs & have 40 overs a side game.

Have your best bowlers bowl how much ever they can to make ODIs interesting :cheer:

Change the powerplay rules and and remove the free hit. It looks so silly, as if the bowler is a lowly peon who made an unpardonable mistake overstepping by an inch or two. Meanwhile, batsmen(non striker) happily stray out of the crease by a foot every ball without any penalty.

Introduce a new batting powerplay rule like before, however reward the batting team the earlier they take it.

So if they start anywhere it from the 10th-20th over mark they get 7 overs of batting powerplay

21-30 they get 5

30-40 they get only 4

There's plenty of ways but the ICC's interest lies in eyeballs based on run fests.

I really miss the days when there weren't two new balls & spinners could bowl past 40th over while seamers could extract some reverse at times.

Bring back Tri series or Quadrangular series.  Remove two new ball rules.  Bring back 5 overs batting Powerplay in overs 30-40

With all the stupid selfish T20 tournaments, its made tri series etc so hard to organize.

I miss the days when a score of 200-250 was considered good and competitive as runs were hard to come by.

It made it exciting.

Nowadays scores of 300+ are not safe because the pitches are that flat batting second is just as easy.

Yeah I lose interest in IPl after 3-4 games mostly.  Don't even bother watching other leagues.  Already ratings on Hotstar are getting lower every year.

BBL is on ventilator.  Nobody even watches PSL like wtf is even point of it.

Who wouldn't watch a tri series between India Aus England?  With old school type rules.   Leagues will never have a so much flavor in it.

I dont have a problem with the IPL or any tournament for that matter for a short period of time, but there is just way too many games and after a while, they all roll into one.

I do miss the the old tri series in Australia and other tournaments like in Sharjah.
