Yea better than these stupid bilaterals. But boards need to make money so bilaterals will stay.

This idea has been running around in my mind for a few days now.

BCCI, should take a leaf out of the Aussies from the 80s to late 2000s and start a carlton united triangular series (ODI/T20I) and allocate a specific month for it every year in their calendar. Invite 2 teams every year and play them twice or thrice against each other and make it a best of three or just one final. They can even alternate it by playing a ODI Tournament with 2 teams one year or to save time make it a T20I tournament with 3 other teams the next year. Either way it will surely help improve our white ball game by leaps and bounds.

It is no secret that the Aussie white ball dominance coincided in the same time period as above. Obviously trying to slot this tournament in an already full calendar is challenging but it can be done. BCCI has the power and financial muscle to achieve this.

it benefits us but other boards will disagree because they dont get to host teams in their country. thats the issue.
