Had a good all round performance in the Ranji semi final. We have a competition for Jaddu/Axar. Did well in the IPL as well. Involved in some great partnership with DK.

He and Mulani have both racked up very impressive stats. However, I am not convinced either of them can be a 4th bowler (i.e., bowling AR), but they could be a 5th bowler - namely, batting AR (for that, they need to improve batting a bit further). mulani is the better bowler and Shahbaz is the better bat of the two

What speeds does he bowl at in Ranji? Jadeja and Axar bowl rapid(55 mph+) and attack the stumps consistently ball after ball. 

 

Very few spinners can bowl that fast with such accuracy.

he is quite quick, although speeds are not shown this time in ranjis. being fairly tall, he also gets decent bounce

On Indian surfaces most left arm spinners are effective.  I like to see how that under-19 guy Vicky ostwald develops. Very classical. Nice pivot and release.

why are we producing so many SLA like Bangladesh.. is there any pure  right arm offspinner left in the ranjis who can stake a claim atleast to the A squads ( not counting on Jayant yadav type allrounders)

no one. tanush kotian is pretty ordinary. he can bat a bit though.

Off spin is a dying art. Has been the case with only 4 fielders outside the circle until the last 10 overs. Easiest type of bowler to go after given that majority of the batsmen are right handers. Most of the offies we will see will be like Maxwell, Markram. Pretty much any one can bowl off spin as it is the easiest type of ball to bowl. So proper batsmen should learn how to bowl off spin.
