Players go to parties on their own. Those are usual page 3 parties which happen every night in big cities. They will party anyway even if they are not playing IPL in their personal life.

There are parties held by the franchise owners; sure no "IPL nights" but "franchise nights".

If you have such a club-based tournament with big corporate houses and film personalities involved, you are bound to have parties. It is not like players dont do party when they are not playing IPL. Parties are an important part of celebrities lives and cricketers are not lesser than any Bollywood celebrity.

Joe Root scored a 100 at Leeds on the 2nd Day (1st Day was lost due to rain) of the 2nd Test match against NZ at Headingley, Leeds. He's from Yorkshire and along with Bairstow (another Yorkshire) mate dug England out of a hole after they were 67-3 losing Cook, Compton and Trott in the first 25 overs.

No, I am not contracted by the BCCI. So I don't get paid by them..
