That thought playing like T20 or even ODI on second last day was a good idea :whack3:

SL & now Pak have clearly shown batting for time is always a good strategy in tests, especially considering we only had to draw it to win the series!

We have piece of **** batsmen. Period. More than runs, just batting for time and giving bowlers rest to be fired up and bowl with full intensity is the secret. They barely lasted 50 overs. Bowlers rightfully were fatigued and were made to pay.

Did you watch the first session? There was clearly a tactic to be at least (slightly) aggressive, Pujara/Iyer/Pant all went playing stupid shots.

Remember that Kanpur test where I said Saha/Jadeja(?) plating too slow for 5-10 overs before declaring? We could've won that test had we declared earlier. There's a lot of wrong plans/tactics in many games now - it seems like a pattern & Dravid should be held accountable for this!

Bumrah being the captain India needed someone to guide him on the field. Only guy he had was the  Villain Kohli who didn't really seem to work for India lol

They got carried away with a 100+ lead and thought to show 'Bazball' its place.

They got shown what Bazball actually entails, and how even relatively talentless hacks can make it work.... these sooperstars on the other hand do not even have that level of accountability.
