Iftikhar is solely picked coz he bats well against pace. Heard misbah he suggested this move to them last yr when t20 Wc was going on in UAE that pick someone like Asif ali in subcontinent n Ahmed overseas . They did exactly that.........they are picking players on conditions . He also bowls Off spin which is a plus sinze nawaz, khusdil are SLA and Shadab leggie

Shaheen, Naseem and Rauf is a wicket taking attack.

can be expensive on days but will get wickets if the ball moves a little.

 

Happy for Naseem, he was the most impressive pacer in the last PSL.

 

Asian spinners will trouble that middle order but guys like Iftikhar, Asif and khushdil can really get stuck in against pacers.

 

fakhar has a massive role in that lineup against leg spin and left arm spin.

Seeing how Akeal is going against us we are in desperate need of a leftie to tackle Shadab & Nawaz.  Pant may become more crucial. 

SKY vs Shadab & Rauf would be  a favorable match up for us.

Very strong squad indeed. With Babar Azam, they also have a calm and composed leader and not obnoxious ones of the past like Afridi, Sarfraz etc.

why isnt dahani among the first choice ??

Who is better at death dahani or Naseem ?

Pant at 4 to take on Shadab/Nawaz.  Rahul vs wrist spin is a bad idea...  S/R wise.  Bat him like he does at 5 in ODIs.

Naseem has more experience with the new ball so will definitely start, dahani will get his chance later in the tournament too.

Both are unproven at the death but Naseem will get first dibs because of his performances in white ball tournaments.

That pakistani middle order is a real worry against Rashid, Chahal and Hasaranga.

esp Rashid and the srilankan spinners.

chahal will trouble those guys but Fakhar might fancy that matchup , Rashid and Hasaranga will feast.

They can actually play a 4 man pace attack since shadab can bat in top 7 and khushdil & ahmed both can bowl

Khushdil is clearly above in picking order, you are out of sync with their recent performances. Asif is just back up for Happy heart and Chachu.

Rauf and shaheen in odi are pretty average. In t20? They are real good

 

Not impressed with nasemaaa allaudin shah.

Asif Ali is in the squad...  I forgot to add his name. He literally carried them in WT20..  Ifti & Khushdil won't play together
