Pakistan vs Afghanistan is better rivalry than India vs Pakistan

Their players and their fans fight each other so passionately. Matches are reasonably close too.

Indian players at least seem to act like there is no rivalry. They smile if we lose, drop crucial catches, & act like Gandhi when we win, at least Pak players show some jasbha.

Pak Pashtun vs Farsi Afghans 

 

and Punjabi vs all Afghans rivalary as well

Rivalry is between two competitive teams like India-Pakistan . Afghanistan gives tough time to Pakistan but they are not at the same level as Pakistan , not even close , so no rivalry. Similarly no India-BD rivalry . For the same reason losing to Afghanistan would have been more embarrassing than losing to India.

Not sure why you think it is imperative for everyone to see Pakistan as a rival . I do but even I would prefer beating Australia simply because the matches have been amazing.

 

As for humility, hop on to any Pakistani forum and you'll see anything but humility. Bragging about the plethora of talented players etc. You would think the won some tournament worth mentioning or atleast managed to win a test series of some significance .

Lmao...Pakistan fans are the most self deprecating fans out there. We dont rate the competitions we do well in or the opposition players that we do well against. For example just go and check the kinds of things that were said for Naseem shah who has obvious wick taking talent or even Shaheen when he was new.

People run full on agendas to kick valuable t20 players like Asif, Shadab and Nawaz out.

 

We are still suffering from the trauma of the last decade where we had the most mediocre pool of players which flattered to decieve.

 

Meanwhile you guys have enjoyed a great decade and a half which naturally sometimes puts you into a false sense of comfort and security about your players' calibre.
