Sundar's bowling is not penetrative enough for international level. Jadeja was gun bowler & fielder in his prime. Either Sundar should improve his bowling or we need to look for alternatives

Extremely talented, but right now, he has a lot to prove even with his batting. Injuries have derailed him after those initial dream test performances. He has not done enough to show that he is back to that form.

I am a big Sundar fan, but I think he is a test player first. Maybe ODIs.

If Sundar doesn't open the bowling he has no place. That is how he got noticed. He was supposed to be a replacement of Ashwin. But we do need some sort of spinner like Maxwell, Markram, Glen PHilips.I think Ryan paragh would be a good choice as he is like livingstone. Bowls leg spin to right hsnders, off spin to left handers.

They did nothing diifferent from 2022 semifinal or in fact whole 2022 t20 world cup.Except few matches here and there.

They changed some players but main difference  are Bhuvi and Rahul.Pant was there in the team , he should have been made to open then also.

Bhuvi was spearhead who was avoiding the bat from ball one, here  Arshdeep and Bumrah were getting wicket early in all matches.

When your main opening bowler ends up with just 4 wickets. You have no chance.

Bhuvi was biggest fraud we had in T20s, more than Jadeja imo

Not just t20s but also in odis. When you need spinner to break stand in cloudy English conditions then something is very wrong with new ball bowlers.

Sundar was a good prospect and still is but he is not abl eto cross that line for me..esp because of his injuries..

I heard he changed is action\grip to be more effective offspinner..

But these injuries always derails him from getting consistent match practice and he always has to start again..

this is affecting his development and confidence..

He gotta improve his power hitting. Axar is the only one who hits sixes without losing his shape Nice clean swing of the bat.

Sundar is good for Tests like Jadeja and isn't suited to white-ball cricket. He can't hit big similar to Jadeja.

If shami played vs nz whom he loves to bash in 2019 that wc was ours. Under pressure I back india to beat England SA or nz in a crucial final. Wtc is rubbish. It was right after we were tired from ipl. Bumrah also played injured

It's only aus that we struggle with in finals. I am aware nz beat us in a champions trophy once. But in 2019 we missed a golden chance. Bowlers were peaking.

2023 was even stronger and we got incredibly unlucky with some rubbish selections and pandya injury. Now finally everyone realizes how important he is
