These kinds of picks are happening now because there has been a huge hue and cry about trundlers in the Indian T20 team.

 

And loud voices included big names like Vengsarkar, Gsmbhir, Wasim, Waqar and Bhajji.

It's Gill they are interested in. Shaw is not of much use outside power powerplay.

Venues like Dharamsala Mohali Pune are very under utilized in India.  True pitches,  help for both pacers spinners.

Kuldeep Sen seems like has really impressed Indian TM...  Guy has moved ahead over Mavi Tyagi Khaleel.   Mohsin probably would have to do well in SMAT to find a spot after WT20.

And Tripathi should be moved up. He is damn good in finding gaps in powerplay.

Tripathi plays spin better and patidar pace so i kept them in those positions.

Too early for him 

We need immediate ready replacements for pandya as he can get injured any day . Bawa is far away from top level now
