Lord Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 U19 fame can always prove counter productive. We have seen the case of Unmukt Chand
rkt.india Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 Nagarkoti is very short and that was always going to put him at a disadvantage and then injuries derailed him. Mavi can still come back if he bowls at a better. His strength is pace and if he compromises on that he has no where to go.
kubrickian Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 (edited) Mental strength matters above anything else. This is why many sports people who have the temperament do much better than those who have the talent. Have observed that this guy is calm under pressure and bowls well at the death which even a veteran like Bhuvi is unable to do. Edited November 9, 2022 by kubrickian Lord 1

That depends on the type of sport, in cricket skills+mental strength can give you a slight edge over more muscular/well built opponents with less skill. In NFL you try that & you'd have at least ten concussions each season! This is also a big reason why we're still competitive in a major sport like cricket & not gone the way of hockey.
