• Pakistan bowling has been top notch be it pacers or spinners 
• Indian fast bowling has both 2nd best avg and 2nd best eco .  Arsh has taken care of wkts and bhuvi-shami eco 
• Our spinners till now have been 2nd worst in terms of eco , lucky both can bat 
• England spin bowling avg is worst 
• Aus fast bowling eco has been 8.81 (kicked out) and avg is 40 too (neither they cud control runs neither took wkts) 
• SA fast bowling have two extreme- Nortje the most impactful bowler and rabada who have ruined nortje hard work 

 

 

SA has 4 impactful bowlers but one Rabada ruined it all

LOL at those silly takes comparing economical bowlers to stat padding batsmen. These have quite literally the opposite impact. Even Bumrah has been a victim of constant trolling for this.

If you keep it tight wkts will come at other end as both t20 legends state .  Eco in t20 is off massive importance specially when totals are getting higher n higher

 

IF you can keep it tight and take wkts thats legendary stuff but only very very very few can do that like bumrah-archer or this Wc Nortje . But those are very few bowlers , beyond that if u can take care of one department u have done a great job for ur team. Even if ur taking wkts eco shud be kept in checked just that u can be a bit lenient in terms of eco 

 

In terms of wkts , a lot of times bowlers bowl well but somehow they dont get wkts but on days when they bowl not as good they get in bunch. Specially in t20 a lot of wkts occur due to batsman being over aggressive and more often then not it wud be the pressure from other end

To add

bhuvi has bowled 65 dot balls out of 100 this WC , 65% dot balls in 5 games

Means 13 dots per game on avg , 2.1 overs of no runs

 

So opp doesnt have 20 overs , they have 17.5 .....................now add to that shami has been going around 6 eco (again excellent) . Both are taking of 8 overs among them just for 5.5 to 6 RR............8 overs is 40% of an innings . I dont know shami dot ball % but im sure if u combine both opp are playing less then 17 overs not 20

Indian spinners are the weak points i should say. Very high Economy rate despite bowling in the middle overs. Frequently getting targeted

This is what u call poor performance 

If only rabada had a better eco, his team wud have landed in semi ........................no way he wud have had a negative impact . Someone like parnell did a great job for his team by having 6.37 eco and he ended up in list of bowlers with positive impact 

 

Upar dunia bhar ka stat hai padh lo, speed gun ke aage bhi dunia hai

Given the way ball was having a banana swing, Deepak Chahar would have been a nightmare. In place of Axar Chahar could have been played. Idiots. They all got injured at the same time :(

yea he cud have been , even thakur wud have done well (Always mentioned with him that bigger grounds are his best friend and if their is any kind of assistance its even better )

I honestly never had much problem with 15 but if one change i wanted was a bowler instead of hooda , We shud have had 5 seamers for Aus in main squad. Hooda cud have easily been in reserves

We have too many unusuable candidates. Hooda can atleast be used as a fielder. This Chahal and Harshal may never play in the next 2 matches.

cant live on may, had Aus qualified chahal wud have come in for sure and to replace ashwin batting they wud have given the role to harshal. Also shami was always a risky pick considering his return from injury and past struggles , had he failed in few games again harshal wud have replaced him

Keeping him with the expectation we might play Australia  has wasted a space. You need players to take on most of the opposition. As a leggie you should be able to do well against everyone like Shadab does. If not having him in the squad is useless.

he is right if pressure is built from end , it will always help at other. Rashid , narine have spoken about it 

Bumrah this season for MI suffered becoz of lack of support from other end . Nortje highest impact too has suffered this Wc .................alll he wud have asked for someone keeping tight at other end 

 

Ofcourse u have to bowl well in the end, pressure at other end just makes life difficult for batsman . 

 

Infact both have massively benefited from each other. Batsman also finds it hard to adjust from left arm angle to right arm angle , so it has benefitted even bhuvi and shami. 

Shami too deserves big credit for keeping the pressure after their spell ...............no one can replace bumrah but shami till now has covered bumrah economical  and middle phase value superbly 

 

Similalry kulcha use benefit from each other and Jadeja-Ash in home test conditions . Bowling works in partnerships

we dont have that so best plan is not to be rigid and use horses for courses 

Aussie batsman has issues against leggies in middle order so chahal was ur best shot, if he failed well others wont have done much either. Its all about playing the one with best chance

Once u put someone in reverse u cant get them in main squad unless someone is injured and even if u niggle someone out then u cant bring them back.
