Luke wright is younger than many of our current team's players.

But most of the guys who are young have made lot of money in IPL and probably not interested in selector job. Selector job is a thankless job you will be influenced by coach and captain especially Indian team and you don’t get any praises even if the team performs but you get cut if the team looses.
