There's a slight chance, from what I remember if SA beat them even 2-1(?) here & then win their next series 2-nil & we beat Oz 4-nil then they won't make it. But that's nearly impossible now. They really deserved it in 2021 but NZ just got in on a technicality, lucky b******

I think we would beat saffers if we play them in the final. We beat most teams in the final in test format unless it's kiwis because the conditions in England suit them. Apart from n.z, Australia is one team I fear in a one off final. They show up to perform in ko stages. 

 

Let's hope we select the right personnel though.

Yes. As long as we win that, honestly I dont care if we make finals or not. Rather beat Aussies 3 0 or 4 0 and not reach the final than lose to Aussies at home and still advance to the finals if you get what I mean.

SA does well only on batting tracks. Outside batting tracks they are deer caught in headlights. proved in NZ, proved in England now proved in Australia. Even against India they lost 1st test badly

Saffers probably have best bowling attack on the planet but their batting line up is equally terrible.

Pitch is a little like thr 36 ao.match but even more pace and bounce. Even these teams who should be used to it can't handle it.
