Same issue of experienced batsmen lining up to bat in the top order (#1-3) in ODI bilaterals

What an uninformed post.

Rohit played 12 out of 28 ODIs we have played since 2022. What more rest can he get?

Kohli played 12 ODI since 2022 as well. A struggling batsman should play more to get back to form. Yes, now he got some runs, so he can play Ranji but that's recent.

Dhawan is dropped.

Gill is playing well, he has a point to prove. Are you saying he should get out early just to test the middle order :hysterical::hysterical:

Our top scorer last year was Iyer (no.4). In 2021 it may be Pant iirc. Even Pandya and Axar have won matches with their batting not long ago.

What do you want? Everyone should bat at the position they are supposed to bat in World Cup, unless an injury like Pant's happen.

We are definitely winning it. 100%

Otherwise the cricketers houses are going to burned down.

Those things don't happen now, at max you will see some bashing on social media for at a week. It will also fade away as BCCI is smart enough to arrange a series to allow the seniors to do minnow bashing.

Gill seems to be in form you can’t expect him to be dropped. Rohit is not playing long these days so middle order should get some chances. Also what can we do if our top order is good lol.

T20 is full lottery. When cewhtiyapas England and Aussies play us,we will probably put out turners and screw them in the buttholes like we should.

Just hoping we have some injuries so all the good players can play.

They aren't as bad against spin as you're thinking off. One thing which IPL has benefitted these players is now they know how to play spin.
England has quality spinners in form of Rashid and to an extent Moeen who are enough to demolish us, even Livingstone's part time spin will be a challenge for our seniors to face.

They aren't really that good, like you'd see with the results in tests. The IPL doesn't show how good/bad these players are but yes they are much more familiar with the conditions than passengers from the past! The issue is our batting isn't that goof against spin either & unless we play 3-4 spinners the opposition can still outbowl us on such pitches.

Then why do all teams get thrashed by us in tests. Odi the same. Only twanty twanty biscuit league is a lottery.

India must win the series to qualify for the WC, the best chance for that to happen is to blow up the pitches, we need a result in every game. We have no choice here. If its pace friendly, Australia will have a decisive advantage, more so when we play our trundlers too. Bumrah our ace is still injured.

Sure our batsmen are not that good against spin, but I would back the entire team to score more runs against Australian batsmen on slow, low bounce turner.

Ash, Jaddu and Axar as batsmen will do more damage than Australia's lower order batting wise.

Tests is a different ball game because here we have spinners who are happy to bowl all day long with no restriction, and the more ball gets older it's in our favour.

ODI is tilted towards our team but again there are instances in the past where opposition has outbatted us, as some of our batters just go too defensive against spinners.

Correct.

Ash, Jaddu, Axar have all proven physically and mentally capable of bowling for long long periods in a Test. It makes them impossible to defend on slow low turners.

Esp Jaddu, zero run up, zero "effort" to bowl. (as in it doesnt physically drain him), he can get through an over in a couple of minutes literally.

Nha we are going to smash them. Just need to pick the right team.
