There is jaiswal, harshit Sen waiting in the wings forever. Pant, Bumrah definitely. Bumrah is an amazing player. Spinners may get a lot of credit for wickets on those pitches but Bumrah performed everywhere. His SENA stats are better than Akram's. Pant was just a freak. How quickly he could turn the match... Don't know how much more Sundar can or could've done in the recent matches. Need to get rid of at least 3 of the top order batsmen. Team will go into transition soon though. Something's gotta give.

putrevus Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 That was great leave by Labu. Archer was lot more hositile in last series before his injury. It is pity for world cricket to have lost him due to injuries. wazza 1

It is great tragedy for India to have such a fine talent to have never realised his true potential. Somehow umesh is Malcolm marshal with sg ball lol. I don't know what his issue is. He struggled with other types of balls. Weird case. Wasted talent.

Jadeja was playing for one reason his batting skills as Indian batting was awful otherwise Ashwin is fat better spinner than Jadeja. Stokes gets injured becuase it is hard for fast bowlers unlike spinners.Even if he does not bowl a single over from now onwards Stokes will end up as better allrounder. Stokes is a far superior batsman than Jadeja ever was at any point in his career., Jadeja to his credit has improved his batting but he is no where near Stokes. spinner will obviously play supporting role in SENA. Even Ashwin did that when he played. Ashwin has similar record in SENA or slightly better only. You can't be allrounder without bowling enough, let alone great one. He;s a good batsman, great at home even. Jadeja improved his batting, Stokes never improved his bowling.Got worse infact.

Sundar is a very talented batsman my dude. Special talent. He can slot in right into our system... Also jaiswal, harshit rana and prasidh. We will be very dangerous if we pick our best team. We will take years to do it sadly.

Had all the tools. Very strong guy. Physically powerful. Fast. Had some good skills. But never had consistency. Could never bowl comsistent lengths like Cummins. Too wayward.

This bozo has been playing Tests since 2011. Bumrah in such a short period learnt how to set up players.

He always would try to protect runs by blocking one side. He basically instructed bowlers how to bowl. it works in one dayers. Not in Tests. In Tests bowlers have to express themselves.
