It will be two wickets big deal on his good day, he is useless with bat in death overs and that is where he bats 95% .

Purely talking as a bowler he has improved recently. He was good for a while. Then he went off the boil. Slowly finding his groove which is good. If he stays clear of injury he will be a regular once Jaddu also leaves who is not really doing much anyway.

He like Ashwin will be useless  long term in whiteball cricket.Ashwin was bowling with new ball when he started and he did have his moments.  Unless you are a big hitter offspinners don't had any value in whiteball cricket.

In the last 1 year Jadeja's ODI strike rate is 59 scoring 113 runs.  Sundar  strike rate 89 scoring 176 runs Axar 147 runs 93 strike rate

In the last 1 year  Jadeja's T20 strike rate 120 in 2 matches. Sundar strike rate 157 in  4 matches. Axar's strike rate 175 in 10 innings.

He is going to compete with these guys. He is definitely a better player against pace as he smashed NZ pacers in the death overs. Batting at 8 he is a good option

Why you keep quoting Jadeja, jadeja should have been kicked out long time back.

Jadeja stunk , that does not mean we need to allow Sundar to stink too.

Except Jadeja stunk for 14 years. Axar is 29 with limitations. Sundar is only 24 and has higher cieling and scope for improvement. He can start batting at no.8.

well..why most of us..dont like Parag is not because of talent issues but because of his lack of  temperament..focus..discipline etc..

if he fixes these issues..he is a good player..always had the potential..he is very young..age is on his side..

would be great if he fixes these issues..and develops into a fine Middle order player..

parag, if he translates his potential to ODIs, is the perfect fit at 6. position like 7 or 8 is too low for him, but at 5 or 6 he has the time to settle in and then score. moreover, in ODIs, he is a genuine 5th bowler or 6th bowler.
