gill/iyer have both hit a 50 each and have looked decent. need them both to have a big knock before the KOs though.even pandya and jadeja.

Every other team is having major issues as well. 

 

I think the balance of the team will be alright when Hardik returns and Iyer is dropped for a left hander 

 

Bowling lineup of Hardik , Jadeja , Kuldeep , Shami , Bumrah , (Siraj/Ashwin) might be workable. If we are intent on 5 specialist bowlers (Including Jadeja/ Hardik as allrounders), we might need someone like Rohit / Iyer / Kohli etc rolling their hand over for 3-4 overs at times.

jaiswal, tilak can bowl in the future. maybe even sudharsan.

 

parag can fit into top 6 or 7, if he can actually make his primary skill (batting) work

Bowlers are the one winning us the games in the WC if you look at how other team are getting tonked consistently.I say bring in Hardik back but replace Shardul with Shami and we have the most potent bowling attack in the WC.If one of the top 5 is having a bad day then Hardik is there to cover.
