Naseem is a good bowler but the last great bowler Pakistan churned out was Asif. None of the bowlers that have turned up for Pakistan come even close

From a skill and bowling smarts perspective even Amir is better than these guys.  There is no plan B for these 4 over specialists.

Why are you dancing around instead of just admitting he is a crap bowler wiht no skill.  That Naseem shah is lucky not to play here. He would have disappeared all over.

He is a good old ball pacer

He was a good bowler, not great.

He averaged 33 in ODI's...not a great number anyway. Was a good Test bowler though.

Averages almost 30 in SL in ODI's, excelled in home conditions which as per Pakistani fans anyone can do.... Test averages are lol worthy against strong nations, don't get carried away by the bullying of Bangladesh & Netherlands. He gets movement with new but is too far away from the off stump.

Yeah , the current lot know little better than to bowl the death overs. All cheap wickets namely for stat padding.

Doesn't matter that they screwed the pooch earlier in the match.

He has his limitations but isn't completely useless. He is opposite to someone like umesh, who was good with the new ball but struggled with the old ball in odis, but then umesh was good with old ball in tests in india.

Mark wood can't bowl at all in Odis, poor with both old and new ball but has a better test record ,why do you think that it.

Is he going to bowl 10 overs in death?

Haris Rauf in this world cup

power play       1 wicket 132.00 avge 9.42 ER SR 142.85

Middle overs    5 wickets 62.80 avge  6.28 ER  SR 102.00

Death overs    10 wickets 8.70 avge 5.80 ER SR 90.00

So basically he goes 5.8 in death overs. It looks better than his other phases. But it is not match winning. He got some freebie wickets when batsmen wanted to accelerate. Most of the time damage was already done in the power play and middle phases.

5.8 is quite good at the death,I don't think many will complain about it.In the middle over he probably needs a good spinner to help him out.

As I said, he is a limited bowler but he canbe used in odis unlike mark wood.If their new ball bowling was better and also had a good spinner, then he could fit in and do his job .

He can't bowl 10 overs in a row can he?  THat is why he is useless. Wickets he takes in death overs is a result of batsmen throwing their wickets away. Even Shaheen picked up wickets that way.

What's your point that you don't need death bowling,

Even Aus pacers have struggled in this wc ,you can addin their names as well.

Except that they didn't create records like Haris Rauf.
