LordPrabhzy
Not sure why BCCI doesnt choose established brands and companies who have a pedigree and history of many years. Amul, Infosys, Airtel etc could b good options and if nationalism isnt the consideration then there are many foreign brands that they could go for- Apple, Microsoft. But it depends if established brands have the desire and spare change to sponsor the Indian cricket team as Indians already know the brand. In the english football league there has been a big issue of small chhinese betting companies being the shirt sponsors of many teams which points to the fact that big companies now dont see team sponsoring as a value add Link to comment
R!TTER
Apple/MS/Google don't need BCCI & they certainly wouldn't spend these stupid amounts on what is essentially a dying sport, wrt the level of competitiveness outside the big 3 nations! IPL is different & the economics over there are completely stupid as well IMO. Link to comment
