Full tosses get lot of wickets too. Yesterday Jitesh got out on one.

Batsman gets surprised and tries to overhit

How about failing to make even half connection every single time?

Yes, but they are still the easiest balls to hit boundaries. Jadeja always plays the ball along the ground even on full tosses to remain not out.

Best players of full toss: axar, patidar, kohli, iyer and many more.

Rohit hits them well. SKY too. Missing one or two full toss is fne. But missing every single full toss is an art. lol Jaddu is king of it.

We have enough samples now. It is such an important vital attribute all batsmen especially finishers, lower ord er should possess. I Have seen so many full tosses that went unpunished. If they had connected result would have been different. Bowlers almost always lose their nerves and bowl full tosses. Especially with dew you get more full tosses. But missing those full tosses is criminal.

No matter what people say he is the best bowler in the world in tests and odi. T20 is hit or miss. Nobody cares

If bumrah wins a wtc and or a t20 wc/odi wc he should go down as one of the best ever.

But he has to raise his game as well. In all the knockout and crunch games, his performances have been way below par. That's why someone like McGrath is so highly rated - the guy used to raise his games in big moments and against better opponents. Bumrah, like Kohli, Rohit, KL etc. under-performs when it matters.

typical indian mentality. also add Sacchu, Dravidiot, etc to the list.

only gambhir and yuvi bucked that trend to an extent in ODIs, and his Highness (kohli) in t20s

And Dhoni. Dhoni was the only captain that the team actually played better than the sum of its parts, which can be seen with CSK as well. He was able towin tourneys with bowling attach consisting of RP Singh, Sreesanth, Munaf, Nehra etc. Whereas we have wasted the last decade with the best bowling lineup we ever had with the likes of Bumrah, Shami, Ashwin etc.

Gambhir is someone I rate very highly, along with Raina. Gambhir was the top scorer in 2 WC finals - WT20 2007 and WC 2011, and Raina's contributions lower down the order in WC 2011 are extremely under-rated. If we had someone like SKY in WC 2011, we would've lost both the QF and the SF.

As for Dravid, we saw what he was capable of in the disastrous 2007 WC. And he repeated that performance in 2023 WC final when we had the cup for the taking. First time we had the team to beat Aus in a WC, and phattu Dravid botched it by being meek & afraid and tampering the pitch. How he's still the coach says it all about BCCI

Bumrah in an Australian set up would have been a fantastic ICC tournament winner.

Slice it any which way but Bumrah has failed to impose himself in any of the knockout games. Right from CT 2017 to WTC Finals, to WT20s or WCs, he hasn't had one memorable performance in a must-win game. He has played for almost a decade and yet to be a difference maker even in a single knockout. Forget about raising his game, he has regressed in clutch moments.

2017 i won't hold agianst him. He was very new. Very raw. He wasn't like a legend already.  He didn't bowl badly in any of the tournaments.  Batsmen at times had to step up. They didn't do. We expect him to run through sides in limited overs with not many slips.  Let down is actually what SSteyn did. He just had to bowl one good over in the semi final. He failed. That is not what Bumrah did. In such a situation i back Bumrah to save the day for us. iin wc 2023 final firt over he created a chance. Not his fault if they didn't hang on to it. FIrst of all we either put up a ridiculously small total or  we fail to chase ssmall total. It is almost always the batsmen 90%.
