zen Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 If I recall correctly, for next year, there will be a mega auction. There is no information on how many players a team can retain. It can be anywhere from 1 to 8 players. If the number of players to be retained is 1, there could be "Right to Match" cards available. Teams would probably prefer to have 8 players retained, maybe 5 Indian & 3 Overseas. Mega auction is good for those players who have been bought for peanuts but have done well such as Rinku Singh, Harsheet Rana, Moshin Khan, Mayank Yadav, Patidar, Kuldeep Sen, Ashutosh Sharma, etc.
maniac Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 MI, SRH,RCB,Punjab plenty of teams with mediocre spin bowling units. Good spinners will make a lot of money next IPL. Umran might be released by SRH and he might go to KKR or GT where hopefully he will be used.

Sometimes you have to fight for guys you desperately need This auction will go a little longer :) Looks how DC lost Klassen to SRH

Can't do much once pick a poorly constructed squad vvvslaxman 1
