Yes, but apart from Bumrah, our remaining best bowling options are all spinners. It's a 3 pace + 3 spin combo, giving the skip flexibility. Also apart from Arshdeep, rest of them can score with the bat. Kuldeep and Bumrah can be of some use with the bat. Hopefully this ensures that the likes of Kohli have no justification for his run a ball 50. 

 

Bumrah, Arshdeep, Kuldeep, Axar, Jadeja are your frontline bowlers. If things go bad, skip can call for Shivam Dube's tearaway pace (God help us if it comes to that). But yes I stick by this squad 

 

1. Rohit (C) - Captain, irreplaceable liability

2. Jaiswal - Gamble due to the immense potential + left hand opener

3. Kohli - Celebrity status liability 

4. SKY - Mr 360, on his day....

5. Samson (WK) - On current form + ability, overtakes Pant + plenty of lefties to follow

6. Dube - far better batsman than Pandya + equally bad bowler

7. Axar - batting/bowling allrounder

8. R Jadeja - fielding/bowling allrounder

9. Kuldeep Yadav - Brill

10. Bumrah - Brill

11. Arshdeep - Lesser of two evils!

yeah, agreed. but arshdeep should bat at no. 9 or even no. 8. he's the only one with slogging ability. kuldeep is tuk-tuk and boomer can't bat much
