new york, failed experiment.

Dallas being a proper cricket ground, has played much better

No matter how much they try to promote cricket in US, the only people following it will be cricket playing expats and that too first generation.

The love of cricket in the cricketing world is passed down from father to son.

In the US the native population have the love of BASEBALL being passed from father to son.

Cricket has as much chance of popularity with them as baseball has with Indian public in India.

Now soccer is also looking good so cricket has to wait.

Baseball's popularity has been decreasing , now it is distant third popular sport behind NFL and NBA.

But they play 162 games , They are gold for TV channels.

But you are right , Cricket will never be able to create any interest in USA.They cannot match salaries these players get from baseball .

Nah, they've been trying to shill sawker in US since before the days of Beckham who was by far the most popular footballer there. They've hardly made a dent since he even went to La galaxy.

Wc will work I think.
