Kamran Akmal gets a strong response for his derogatory remarks on Sikhs

As if this is the first time a Pakistani cricketer has said something like this on camera. Afridi, Malik, Tanveer and countless others have done this in past. This is not a one off case but a reflection of the extremely regressive cultural and educational background that they come from regardless of their financial prowess. Add to this the religious toxicity and tendency to politicise it against the minority wherever they are in majority(Pakistan or West), this is bound to happen. Infact you will see some of these comments coming from British Pakistani cricketers in 10 years time with Artherton, Hussain and Bumble either looking the other way or acting apologetic on behalf of those individuals. Britain is a ticking time bomb and will closely compete with Pakistan in next 2 decades in terms of social malise. And these che*** have the gaul to lecture us on democracy and secularism with  some our own trying to milk it for their political interests.

While I agree religion has no place in sports... But do you see our ex players making such remarks ever?

India is far more liberal and progressive minded than those illiterate jaahils.

There's no comparison at all sorry.

Chanting jai sree ram as a war cry to intimidate Muslims or Pakistanis gives it a militant connotation which is besmirching a holy Hindu prayer praising a deity with quite contrary ethos, one of benovalence, duty, violence only as a necessary tool to do good not militant political aggression. It's tasteless.

brtain could only conquer india cause india allowed it to happen. we were shills. we betrayed our own kind. finally drove them out after 150 years.

they stole 1 trillion from us which they still owe. guess their way of thanks is by giving indians visas or citizenship if they are skilled enough etc. lel

pakistan is a regressive country. many of the people are quite nice. its the government and some of the messed up celebrities that ruin their reputation.

world is better without these extremists. this applies to any race.

There are nice Individual Pakistanis but as a collective they will always allow their worst to take over. The issue with their society and others like that is the so called nice people look the other way when the minority extremists go on a rampage or verbal diarrhoea like this and then when there is a reaction from all over these same nice people will act as an apologetic for the extremists with some theoretical gyan that "our religion, out culture do not support this". It's all a matter of convenience for them. While these nice people may not indulge into dirt by themselves, they will do nothing to stop the rot and clean the house. This is different to true secular countries like India or in the West where the majority are inherently secular and they will take the initiative if things go beyond a threshold.

Have you ever visited a military academy or something like a BSF camp or Army recruitment camp?

Har Har Mahadev, Jai jwala mata, Jo bole so nihaal are usual war cries for Army men... I am sure on the other side they have their own stuff.

Jai sree ram?

Shiva and kaali yes. That fits. Jai shri raam due to ram janma bhoomi and ayodhya has a civilization connotation. And more substantial impact, like it's made for flags emblems mascots. Both negative and positive associations will be accentuated.

Shiva has an ascetic sigma energy like it's made for clandestine ops stickers. It's nature is destructive that you almost had to be safe not to piss off those chanting it, like what were you thinking?.

And I don't care for Ram although I like identifying as a dharmic it's too naarthi for me. This is coming from my sensitivities. Imagine a genuin ram bhakt.
