Both him & Gill are no different from Kohli or Rohit.

They all are slow starter and will take 2 overs to get their eyes "set", rotate the strike and then press the pedal only when we're at 15th over. In modern T20 there is place on only one player of that style...we are carrying 2 at the top in pp.

 

It's like Pakistan who plays Rizwan & Babar at the top because they can't play elsewhere.

Dhoni won 3 tourneys, Kohli has a big fat 0. If chasing 275 was so easy how come "King" Kohli couldn't chase 230 odd in 2019 WC? Lone warrior my @$$. He has yet to make a difference in even a single tourney. The real bozos have been our top order batsmen, including the so called "King" Kohli. Our bowlers have always stepped up in tourneys. It's "King" Kohli and the top order who've let them down time and again. They haven't managed even a single match-defining innings across multiple tourneys.

 

When Head has 2 tourney defining innings, your "King" was there and couldn't do anything about it. What stopped the "King" from hitting a 100 in any of the WTC final or in WC 2023? Truth is the so called King shrinks under pressure and can't really handle it. Unfortunately there's no Gambhir and Raina to carry him over the line. "Greatest player of this generation" has been bested by Travis Head and Steve Smith nearly everytime and that's why we're sitting with 0 trophies over the last decade.
