Why can't Pakistan ever win an ICC tournament undefeated?

You don't bring a fata$$ like Azam Khan and expect to win a tournament undefeated. There is no seriousness in that team ... seriously. Even nepal players were fitter than some of the Pak players

How convenient to blame one guy? Did you win a tournament undefeated when Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Inzamam, Afridi etc were there? Or with Dabar and legwan before Azam Khan?

What do you mean by "you"? I ain't Pakistani wtf ... Who is blaming one guy? Am using him as an example of how unserious the TEAM is or do you have a comprehension issue?

 

Also look at some of the names you mentioned. Inzamam known to be lazy. Imagine how much further he would have gone with his talent if he put in the work in his fitness. Afridi was one of my favorite cricketer but this guy is no better. If he put in the time in his battling, would have been one of the greatest allrounder (player) of all time. Imran Khan was a great leader but after that, Pakistan lost their ways.

Problem is with pak attack, wasim and Waqar around 2000 to 2003 were declining. Shoaib was in his peak. 

 

96 92 is when they had both Ws in their absolute peak. Still struggled mostly in icc tournaments. Yes I know 92 they won but honestly they got extremely lucky in group stages.

 

And later too. Waqar averaged 70 in India if you talk about test cricket. 

 

Maybe theirs greats are not that good in reality. They blame dropped catches. But bumrah and shami too had many dropped catches and yet no one is making excuses for them.

Point is none of their teams have done it so it's not a problem with this team specifically. 1992 with great leader Imran Khan would have ended in tears if it hadn't been for rain vs England.

You need seriousness from players. Too many cheats in that team... Unfortunately one even came out of retirement and even got a spot in the team. How sad is that

Agreed about Laloo but @Chaos was our MVP this tourney. His unbeaten thread opening streak in semis and finals finally got us over the ICC trophy drought!
