India was superior in the 50s, 60s, 70s (won series in Eng/WI in 70s). Pak were better in 80s,90s. Ind then on.

Post IPL India has beaten Pakistan like a rag doll ( something that befits that status of Pakistan )...

 

It is also a fact that post IPL 26/11 Mumbai happened and India did not want to play bilateral again.   Had bilateral series happened after 2008/9, Pak would have been beaten like a dead dog.

 

Sadly for you, you have a no hope now, India is too strong, too rich, too powerful and the talent is finally coming outside of major cities --the gap between India and Pak cricket is atleast 25 years.

There is nothing "special" about bilateral series vs world cup.

 

Pak has superior h2h cause they played mostly in 80s-90s. In the 2000s, India won more "bilaterals".

 

Even in AC which is more akin to bilateral than WC, in the last 10-15 years Ind has smoked Pakistan.

 

If Ind played Pak in bilaterals, India would win.

 

Every year, the list of copes by Pak fans become smaller and smaller.

 

Their biggest cope - "We have better fast bowling than India" is gone with Bangladesh now having better fast bowlers.

 

Considering the trajectories of the two cricketing teams (and economies) eventually the H2H will also change. Until then, cope on.

 

I mean if my team was getting whitewashed by Bangladesh at home, even I would need a cope.

Thing is Bangladesh also had an economic rise and that is now being seen in the cricket field as well.

 

Pakistan's economy is so different from the other South Asian countries that even IMF now no longer classifies them as South Asia but MENAP.

Bangladesh does have a superior economy than India as well. As for Pakistan’s classification it’s more so based off geography, it’s just a shorter flight from Karachi to Dubai than to any south Asian capital.

B'desh should've reached this stage a few years earlier when Mustafizur broke through and they won the ODI series against Pak and India around 2016. But somehow they regressed and are finally taking that leap. Hope they capitalize on it and it's not a blip.

 

We still didn't have quality bowlers back in 2016, Taskin was pretty new and Mash was occupying space with this military medium but he was a great leader, mustafiz had the mystery thing attached hence it worked for a while and later he was found out. In Test matches we had Rubel Hossain bowling at 70+ average, It's very refreshing to see fast bowers in Bangladesh. Now we need proper batsmen and some big hitters.

Your comprehension is so bad that you confuse my post about proximity between national financial hubs with city comparisons . Yes, Karachi is currently in a terrible state but it’s still way better than most Indian cities, it can never be a “tier 3” city in India simply because cities of those tiers tend to be less diverse, more rustic and parochial and less connectivity with the rest of the world.
