Why shouldn't GG and RGS be sacked for this ?

People need to calm down. We lost to a better team so grow up. I have never understood how losing a test series at home is equal to national humiliation. Changes will happen and we will be back to our winning ways.

Please don't miss the forest for the trees.

Its not the lost games, its the spineless performances coming from several key players. Its that aspect which has irked me and possibly others. Apart from the last game(I am being charitable), I can't even say we went down fighting.

Is there a rule stipulating a 3-0 loss in a 3 match series, as the minimum prerequisite for a whitewash classification ?

Nope, but it's much easier to whitewash in a 1 or 2 match series, no?

Some of the series we won 2-3 or lost 1-2 would have been a whitewash if it was only a 2 match series

 Sounds akin to Brat Kohli's views that WTC finals should be best of 3 at-least since its easier for the opponent to win 1.

That's a legit concern. First of all, why the * is it on Eng always? Also, why is English considered neutral, especially for Asian nations? Ideally I'd prefer something like WI as a "neutral" venue for one off test; if not, then have say one test at home and one test away and count the victory margin (wickets/runs) to declare the winner. My last choice from hell would be England  :whack3:

You're expecting a lot from the coin counting boffins at BCCI. There are probably no sweeter deals for them compared to playing in Pommie land.

Back on topic, is VadaPav doing a Brat and staying away for "personal reasons" from the first Test vs Oz?
If he does it might just work out well for us, then we will be carrying just one senior passenger. Maybe just maybe we might survive that.
