I have seen all these

 

- 2000 Match fixing saga, fans turned away from the game, 2001 famous Eden Garden win brought them back.

 

- 2007 50 over WC first round exit, same year we won T20 world cup with a young team.

 

- 2008 Sydney Test was heartbreaking loss, we win at Perth next test.

 

- 2020, 36 All out in Pink ball test, we win the next match as well as the series.

 

- 2024, a whitewash at home to NZ, India emphatically win their next game at Perth against WTC holder Aussies.

Missed 2023 odi wc loss to 2024 T20 WC win.

We went to world cup 2003 on the back of 2-5 ODI series loss in NZ and 0-2 loss in Tests on drop inp itches.

2003 wc campaign as well.Also remember the disastrous 2002 Nzl tour just before the 2003 wc when India was getting bowled out for sub 100 scores every match. Then we almost got upset by Netherlands in the first match of worldcup and got crushed by Australia and then reached the finals.
