It's more than that.

Entire Pakistan cricket revolves around there so called "competitiveness" with India.

 

They don't care much about other teams, all their players and public live and die for is obsessing about India.

 

Since, India stopped playing with them, their players and public has left with no "enemy" against whom they can get motivated and perform.

Fitness nutrition matters as well.  Their players have slower reflexes & upcoming players are from poor imporvished background.  This Akif Javed and that Jahandad Moqim fellow are so skinny... You would worry Kiwi bowlers might seriously injure them on these tracks.

Pakistan gets the 4th highest share of ICC revenue after india eng aus. This year as per the distribution model the share is 36 mm. To take it into context it is 10 billion pkr and it ll put it amongst top 100 companies in Pakistan in terms of revenue.. nz saf get less than Pakistan but still their C side thumps them.

Yes that's the general psyche of most Pakistanis. This kind of a thinking happens in all fields and aspects of their lives like Military expenditure, in sports like Javelin, Hockey etc. If India has it, they also need to have it at any cost mindset. Now with Indians growth they wouldn't be able to keep up with us anymore. Even their military understood this.

India Pakistan bilateral series means more money to take care of all these aspects like player development, better nutrition, better ground facilities, more support staff and better analytical teams.

 

Even though Pakistan receives the most revenue after the Big 3, that money is not put to better use being a 3rd world country unlike NZ.

No amount of money can help when you have corrupts ruling over the idiots.

 

PCB Chairperson is a pet dog of Army chief, so the funds will be misdirected in buying the corners plots of DHA or buying bungalows in London, Dubai.

 

Common public are so high that they have firm belief that "they have an abundance" of talent and fast bowlers will mushroom from every nook corner of the country without taking any effort on setting up the system. Adding to that their habit of blaming India for everything wrong in the people, in this case its BCCI = ICC.

Saim was crucial in last SAF and AUS ODI series wins.
