Cricketics
Virender Sehwag, yes.. this guy should never be dropped from the odi side JAI HO SEHWAG BABA KI. JO BOLE SAW NIHAAL, SEHWAG KA DHAMAAL WAHE GURU DA KHALSA, WAHE GURU JI DA SEHWAG:two_thumbs_up: Link to comment
Predator_05
Not against Pakistan, anyway. Link to comment

Guest dada_rocks
Precisely, even if we have to carry him to the crease on stretcher Link to comment
fineleg
In ODIs so far Sehwag has done poorly. In the last few ODIs, Sehwag seems to be finding his ODI touch. Hope he continues that way and can cement ODI place. In Tests, ofcourse Sehwag has played a lot better than ODIs (so far atleast). Link to comment
flamy
Very true. I really really wish Dhoni would give him more of a bowl though. But knowing Dhoni, he prolly didn't want to tire Viru. Hail Dhoni! Viru - The clone is taking the throne. :two_thumbs_up: Link to comment
jf1gp_1
and lets not forget he also happens to be our most exp bowler rp,praveen, chawla, ishant, yousuf combined would have bowled less than sehwag. Link to comment
Gambit
I think what Veeru has realised is that he needs to bat with a little more caution in ODIs than in Tests because in tests, he's got 4 legends waiting in the middle order but in the current ODI lineup, he doesn't really have many, compared to when he used to open earlier, who can consolidate on his quick 30s and 40s. amits
even in the odi team he has a legendary gambhir batting with him at the other end Link to comment
PaiN_KiLLeR
He is THE most brutal batsman I have ever seen in the longer version of the game & he is now beginning to replicate his brutality in ODI's as well (more consistently). Players like Sandeep Patil & Srikanth have had their moments in the 80's, but they dont come anywhere close to the 'marauder from Najafgarh'. Link to comment
Predator_05
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Sehwag has always done well against Pakistan, so i don't know if his recent success can be thought of as some kind of watershed. In the CB Series, he was a free wicket at the top of the order.
