Can't really guess her country of origin based on how she looks. But I will tell you this: Around the time the movie Vivaah was being shot, I was in my 11th grade and had joined SDIPA ( Shiamak Davar's classes) advanced batch. The lead batch instructor was Shahid Kapoor. This was at the Nana Chowk centre. In that batch there were 2 girls who had come to Mumbai from Tajikistan to learn Bollywood style dancing and some classical music (vocals). They looked like a Persian and Chinese hybrid and spoke decent Hindi which they learned only by watching Bollywood movies. At the summer funk that year we performed to Bann than chali. They went back to Tajikistan and became stage performers (mainly Bollywood stuff) and did well. Most of the viewership were Tajik people and not Indians. They were on my Orkut list. Song is from the year 2000, so not a 90s song strictly So Shahid went from SDIPA to Dil Bole Hadippa Is that you in the video? Terrible dancing

Terrible dancing Please be a bit more polite and courteous. That isn’t Mariyam --- she was clearly referring to some Tajik girls who had come to learn dancing. And by now, you should recognize that it cannot be her. As with everything she does, the bar is set exceptionally high. Lord and Mariyam 1 1

So and had to post a recreation by this dancer. Lord 1
rangeelaraja Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) This is not really a song - but this background music from Mohra was really something back in the day. It is clearly " inspired " from Terminator 2. Viju Shah used the Terminator 2 theme and supplemented it with the appropriate Jhankar Beats to make the Mohra MGM. Was my go to gym music for a while. I thought Rajnikanth's "Baasha", remake of Amitabh's "Hum" was the first movie to copy the background score of Terminator 2, but Mohra beat them to it. Mariyam 1

Karisma was the best in the 90s. For Rajababu alone. Comedy, Romance, Drama, amazing facial expressions to show her emotions and a most versatile dancer ....and her porcelain barbie doll looks - she had it all.
