Great result for cricket and humanity.

Notice how their new regime has sidelined Litton, didn't feature in CT as well. Their public hates him for obvious reasons.

Litton was given NOC to play PSL where he got injured.

He was dropped from CT squad as well.

To be fair to them , he was given every chance to regain his ODI form until the very last series before CT .

Was averaging 21 odd over his last 36 ODIs - performance had fallen off a cliff.

Mushfiqur and Jaker outperformed him with the bat.

It's not as if others are breaking the door down with their performances. Litton at least had past performances and was probably their only batter who performed against India, and had match-winning abilities.

But he is a matchwinner. They were selecting oldies Mushfiqur, Mahmudullah, that useless captain of theirs and few more deadweights.

Liton can keep, even otherwise their best fielder. Wasn't even in the squad.

Mushfiqur had outperformed him over the period I mentioned and quite comfortably. So did Jaker .  And both are wk/keepers.

You can't pick more than 2 in a squad.   Litton's ceiling is higher than Mushfiqur's but when you have done nothing in a format for more than 2 years, it's a little difficult to justify that selection

By that metric you can discard the entire B'desh squad. None of them have done anything for the last few years and majority of their careers. I'm sure if Litton had a beard matching Mahmudullah or Mushfiqur, he would've been selected.

Their greatest ever sportsperson Shakib wasn't even given a farwell. Guys like him and Mashrafe had their houses burnt, their lives at risk, because of their opposition to Jamaatis/BNP. Mashrafe dedicated the 2015 WC win over England to 1971 martyrs and still gets hate for that in Bangladeshi SM. Mashrafe also participated in the Shahbag protests (capital punishment demand for 1971 war criminals). Those war criminals (no less than Nazis) are being hailed in today's BD, while the actual freedom fighters and Indian contribution are being erased.

Fundamental shift in their society. They are as bad as Pakistan today, without a strong military, that's all.

To be fair, his record has been abyssal. He didn't get the boot because of his religion, but his crappy performance.
