This is a good thriller.  And i agree with the message the director wanted to convey. We are unnecessarily harsh on dark skinned people.  He criticized the tamil cinema's(Telugu cinema also suffers from same) obsession with fair skinned people.

Horrible thriller Not a fan of mixing social messages with crime thrillers. . Mixing all kinds of events , worst about clairyoyance and using that to solve a crime. Watched it in 4 sessions.

That guy having clairvoyance is basic premise. It is a genre called magical realism.

If we have problem with premise, we will not like the craft even if it is excellent.

I accepted the premise. It was a good experience.

Ok, If you put it that way.. should have read your post before watching the movie. I was expecting a thriller like Ratsasan.

Watching and rooting for baalayya films will train your brain to accept almost every illogical premise :aha::aha:.

Jai baalayya..

Baalayya is like that 60 year old man who still thinks he is stuck at 20. Does not have artificial trappings of those celebs.   There is a reason why he has a passionate fan base.

For enjoyment of fellow ICF'ers :bow::bow::bow::bow:

Rest in peace Madhan bob Sir. Unmistakable laughing personality . Tamil cinema recently has lost a lot of funny men from Vivek,  Mayilsamy and Pandu sir.

All these gentlemen were part of our childhood growing up.

Looks like coolie is going to be tamil cinemas first 1000 crore grosser.

Thank God it is Rajini and not from Vijay

War 2 will be annihilated if coolie becomes even remotely good.

In south yes. But in north doubtful. War 2 even if it is average will impact coolie.

The bonding among young men in south (Tamil and telugu states) is primarily centered around being fans to a hero. Especially the working class.  Just like how in England the bonding is around a foot ball club.I do not see anything wrong with it.

Just that they should not become hooligans.

The upper class posh people  sealing themselves in gated apartments should take a chill pill and accept it as normal. Rather they should resume watching that ultra sleep inducing french film that won some gazillion meaningless awards.
