This series assumes significance for future test series. We can.predict how many runs a batsman may score and how many wickets a bowler may take in the series and compare them.after the series.

Especially late order batsman can have field day here. Kumble, Agarkar, Amit Mishra, Shami, Bhuvi have all got their highest test score here. Bumrah even scored 29 off Broad. If India has a solidified late order they can contribute some invaluable runs. As usual opening will be the most challenging given the duke ball movement. I expect one of our middle to lower middle to do well with bat. Pant, Jadeja. Gill can do well if he bats down the order avoiding lateral movement tweaker 1
