amits
i was a big fan of rohit sharma till the end of ipl, but not any more. he was struggling in the tri-series & even against hong kong, he could make only 11 off 29 balls. and after yuvraj, rohit sharma seems to be another indian batsman who struggles against spin and its time shikhar dhawan was given a go in odis. he avges 46+ in domestic odis & was the leading run-getter in 2004 u-19 wc. dhawan has been highly unlucky not to be a part of the odi team when worser players like rohit sharma & robin uthappa have got chances Link to comment

Fontaine
Rohit Sharma is the best fielder in the team. As a matter of fact his catching and run outs are world class. Dropping him just because he's had a few poor games is not just stupid but should be a straight kick in the nutsack to whoever making that dumb statement. Link to comment
astromatic
Shikhar Dhawan also deserves a look in soon, even if not Badrinath. He has done enough in domestics to get an international cap, when the likes of rohit sharma can be there without playing any domestic at all. Infact I believe its time, we replace rohit sharma with shikhar dhwana and piyush chawla with amit mishra(who made his ODI debut 5 years ago if you remember), and give these two an year in domestic cricket to practice their range of strokes and variations and develop on all that they have learnt in their international stints. gs
He needs a jolt to wake him up from his slumber. Needs a few more FC matches IMO. Nothing can justify that 30 ball 15 against the mighty Hongkong! Link to comment
Kartikey
Definitely, he is over-rated. I never thought much of him, he has just been hyped too much. Link to comment
Sachin_Rulez
He need to play with soft hands and rotate the strike regurarly. He clearly struggles in that area like the way dravid used to be during 96-98. Link to comment
vadodaravictor
Yah..certainly reminds of Dravid early in his career. Though this guy can hit shots (at least he showed that in T20) Link to comment
amits
and he fails under pressure getting out for 22 when we were chasing 284 Link to comment
