For god sake bcci needs to sack morkel and bring back bharat arun. We are in fast bowling transition and he is best guy to guide our youngstars. Morkel has been useless and under him ww have gone bacj wards

I think he went after pole hunting. It is something he wanted to avoid at Perth Test when he was the captain.  He himself told that. But he ended up doing exactly the same. Every single ball was on the stumps. Occasionally ill directed which was dully punished.  Off stump channel is still th ebest way to go. But with his fitness he cannot do the patience game. He has to make things happen asap before him breaking down. Also he is not the tallest guy like cummins or Rabada who can get natural bounce. He is an impact bowler. Should be used as one. Not workhorse.

But we need reliable workhorse fast bowlers to compensate. Which we don't have.

Precisely. Especially with a captain who is chasing the ball bowlers can't stick to a plan as well. If someone bowls a bad ball on the pads with off side field set you expect the bowler to correct it. You cannot put a fielder next ball on the on side. He is way too inexperienced. Captaincy is not natural to him obviously. Also lot of them are seniors. He just listens to them rather than has them listen to him.
