I remember SKY calling akashdeep zehar and now I know why....

With the new ball .. he is absolutely nippy and unplayable sometimes ... He was the best bowler on sight in this test match ...

Never saw him taking wickets with old ball ... He needs to add that to his skillset ..

After bumrah ..he is my go to bowler in test matches for india..

Looks like he has the body to survive long tours ... Hopefully he will last remaining 3 test matches ...

I am also curious to see his bowling on lively pitches

Bumrah

Siraj

Akashdeep

These three should get all the test matches for next 2 years - home & away. Just need to identify backup now - maybe Harshit, Kamboj & Arshdeep in selected conditions.

No need to throw random fast bowlers with no future Prasidh, Mukesh & Thakur. Don't waste tests on these as they are all over 30 with low shelf life.

Bumrah's workload needs to be managed and he shouldn't play most of Tests at home, and should selectively play selectively away. His body can't hold up playing all the Tests.

Someone like Kamboj and Harshit need to be brought in the mix to share the burden coz Prasidh ain't it and Siraj is way too unpredictable.

If Bumrah stops playing most Tests at home then his body will lose the ability to bowl 20 overs a day with intensity.

At home, workload will be much less as spinners will bowl more.

Too little bowling is as bad as too much bowling.
