sandtest Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Isn't he the same guy, who use to dislike strictness for physical fitness in sports? Now he is aspiring to be a coach :giggle: These days, any "airaa ghairaa, Nathhoo khairaa" can become a coach in subcontinent as long as he a gora with some Cricket experience.
theguyinallblue Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Gilly and Warne are using IPL to give employment to their friends...:haha:
DomainK Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Darren Lahmann? The biggest racist of Cricket? He should be kicked out.
Gambit Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 This seems to be Ind-Pak's coach selection criteria these days- 1. Must be White 2. Australian preferably 3. Must have been involved in some controversial activity on the field. Preferably more than once. 4. Must have been mediocre to above average as a player. 5. Should have tussles with the media every now and then.
Guest dada_rocks Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Seriously now this is getting tiring what the fuuuuk is this fat fuuuuuuk's qualification.. At best a mediocre batsman he was. Why a team which has Gilly/Laxman; needs this git's coaching
Guest dada_rocks Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 I guess all this franchise owners didn't read Gavasakr's observation about aussi coachs during IPL
Gambit Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 I guess all this franchise owners didn't read Gavasakr's observation about aussi coachs during IPL Gavaskar himself missed out on noting which nation, the coach/captain of the team that won the IPL, belonged to.
Guest dada_rocks Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Gavsakr's beef was deputing any tom dick and hary with a laptop in tow from a particular country.. Well warne is not anybody
Temujin Khaghan Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 after the first installment of the IPL, this is the logic being used by everyone. FAT AUSSIE (Warne) = IPL TROPHY THIN and OLD AUSSIE (buchchanan) = NO QUALIFICATION SHORT AUSSIE (Ponting) = read above FRIENDLY AUSSIE (Hussey) = FINALS MAA KI AUSSIE (Symonds) = Gone with the wind TALL AUSSIE (Moody) = SEMIS
Ram Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 This IPL is fast becoming some sort of money-laundering machine for past players. Of course, its important to have professional set-up and the proper support staff, but these retired players wouldnt have anticipated the kind of financial windfall they're getting now, even in their wildest dreams. Of course' date=' its important to have professional set-up and the proper support staff, but these retired players wouldnt have anticipated the kind of financial windfall they're getting now, even in their wildest dreams.[/quote'] If the deserving ones get, then its good for those rtired ones who spent most of their carrers playing with not too much financial gains but with lot of pride...but now it seems every tom, dick and harry can make easy money through IPL and ICL.
fineleg Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 I really want the whole IPL circus thingy to collapse. There is good with IPL, there is bad with IPL. I think the bad of IPL outweighs the good. Hope IPL vanishes into thin air somehow.
