Isn't he the same guy, who use to dislike strictness for physical fitness in sports? Now he is aspiring to be a coach :giggle: These days, any "airaa ghairaa, Nathhoo khairaa" can become a coach in subcontinent as long as he a gora with some Cricket experience.

This seems to be Ind-Pak's coach selection criteria these days- 1. Must be White 2. Australian preferably 3. Must have been involved in some controversial activity on the field. Preferably more than once. 4. Must have been mediocre to above average as a player. 5. Should have tussles with the media every now and then.

Seriously now this is getting tiring what the fuuuuk is this fat fuuuuuuk's qualification.. At best a mediocre batsman he was. Why a team which has Gilly/Laxman; needs this git's coaching

Gavaskar himself missed out on noting which nation, the coach/captain of the team that won the IPL, belonged to.

after the first installment of the IPL, this is the logic being used by everyone. FAT AUSSIE (Warne) = IPL TROPHY THIN and OLD AUSSIE (buchchanan) = NO QUALIFICATION SHORT AUSSIE (Ponting) = read above FRIENDLY AUSSIE (Hussey) = FINALS MAA KI AUSSIE (Symonds) = Gone with the wind TALL AUSSIE (Moody) = SEMIS

This IPL is fast becoming some sort of money-laundering machine for past players. Of course, its important to have professional set-up and the proper support staff, but these retired players wouldnt have anticipated the kind of financial windfall they're getting now, even in their wildest dreams.

I really want the whole IPL circus thingy to collapse. There is good with IPL, there is bad with IPL. I think the bad of IPL outweighs the good. Hope IPL vanishes into thin air somehow.
