It looks like due to mostly the security reasons CPEC is almost abandoned by the Chinese.

There were reports that when Baloch seperatist groups were killing Chinese nationals and destroying Chinese equipments and infra, China asked Pakistan to put their own army on ground for security.

Pakistan denied that.

 

After that China is already talking to Baloch sardaars and giving them their cut for their nationals security bypassing Pakistan.

 

To me it looks like blaming Endia was just a mirage. The real game was played by US. US always had their pawns sitting GHQ where the real power in Pakistan lies.

 

These military establishment guys first invited China and got them to spend 60 billion dollars in Pakistan.

Then they kicked their arses using their proxies and termed it as India trying to sabotage CPEC.

Notably, Chinese intelligence always said that India is not involved in attacks on their citizens.

 

Now those motorways, railways and ports developed by China will be used by Americans to mine critical minerals.

If you are China, think about the ways you can park your 3-4 trillion usd reserves.... they have to take over taiwan, so reducing us treasuries from 1.2 tr to 750 billion because usa will freeze this like the Russian reserves.

 

There isn't a good way to park this 3000-4000 bn dollar reserve...so , sometimes they stack up things at home with this money, some times gold, sometimes debt traps like CPEC, Internally they know,this money won't come back.
