Doubt any Sachin fan has time to go through some article from a UK paper. Most will be having their families, jobs, settled lives. 

 

People rarely discuss him these days, it is only Dhoni (CSK) vs Kohli (RCB) vs Rohit (MI) fanwars on SM. Occasionally filmstars pop up like SRK, Sallu, Thalapathy Vijay, Thala Ajith, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Rebel Star Prabhas....that's the standard dicourse and cultural hot topic for most Indians.

I dont know why folks fall for it. Notice how most western cricket figures try to monkey balance. Indians = Pakistani. Both always a token for representativeness.
