West Indies tour to India 2025

After concluding the Asia Cup 2025, India will return home for Test action. They will host the West Indies for a short Test series in the first half of October 2025.

2nd test: 10 Oct 2025 - 14 Oct 2025 (Ahmedabad)

Why not give the tests to B tier cities as well ?

Stadiums like Dehradun, Trivandrum, Vizag, Ranchi too deserves test matches.

So after Shamar, now Alzarri also 'ruled out'- its clear that these pacers think playing on spinning dustbowls is going to be a waste of a time. Holder has declined to play as a replacement. India will be playing a nearly an associate side- we didnt actually need Bumrah for this series, packing the team with any three spinners is fine.

WI smashed India in the old days a lot.

 

India were always competitive vs SA at home (minus 2000) and even abroad managed to draw a match or two. Think we have never been whitewashed in SA away.
