Indian batters never know if they knicked the ball or not. Even in previous matches when umpires gave them out even though they haven't knicked it I've seen them taking time to consult the non striker to go for DRS or not.

TBH, Aus bowling hasnt been all that threatening but their fielding is light years ahead of us plus they don't concede that many extras

Hot spot is more unreliable, and costly af, military tech. Also I once read that you can cheat that system by applying vaseline or some gel on the edges.
