Indian bowling can be overpowered by pwerhitters. Clerk hit 2 sixes over the long on fielder. It was a joke for her but the bowling was atrocious. No slower bouncers or variations. Just trundling

Allowed the game to drift. India could should have choked them  by keeping the tail at the strike

Our spinners dont trust themselves either.  They bowl 3-4 dot balls on the off stump....only to release the pressure by offering freebies down the leg side in every over. Or wides down the leg side.

Pitch got easier today. I think we lost it on strategy today. Wide ball strategy should have been the go to strategy once tshe started hitting sixes on both sides when the ball within her range. Captain should immediately assess what the player is comfortable with and react accordingly. With one tailender at other end easy option would have been bowling wide outside off by having a third.

That is where the game was lost. De clarke played far too many deliveries with a tailender

Safe to say Smriti Mandhana is amongst the most overrated batters in our lineup.  Female version of Gobar Azam. She has been playing intl cricket for over a decade.  Zero performance in big tournaments every fu*king time.  She is good only for Ads & reels.  Forget WC, she failed even in lower profile tournaments like AsiaCups.  Only reasons some fans post stuff like "Oh, she is classy stylish batter bla bla bla" is probably becz she is decent looking.  I dont see any other reason. 

I was done with her on CWG final match... I haven't seen a epic choke in a long while.

 

That was the golden opportunity for this team to win anything worthwhile.

On good INdian tracks under lights you can swing through the line. Even half connection with power will elude fielder

Youngsters are doing okay. It is the seniors that choke.  This was like watching world cup semi final 2022 when our top order tuk tuked. Pandya showed what a flat patta that wicekt was later. Kohli made 50 in 40

How many times our seniors in the past (men's) estimated their own par score and fell flat.  2023 final, even in 2023 semi final we were goinf for 300. Iyers beastly finish made sure we put above par. 2022 semi final well below par. Then against bangaldesh in 2022 well below par. One freak run out saved us from embarrassment. ALmost always it is the seniors that creatd that situation.
