It will take another five to 8 years to get young and hungrier players coming thru wpl. Indian wteam have no reasons to complain.They are being given every opportunity to do better than what they done since 2017.

 

WPL has its own merits but it will never address the crux of the problem.

 

Indian women and players coming through in every decade are small and malnourished.. they can barely clear the 30 yard circle, You can give them millions but their genetics will never allow them to compete with SENA women and their power. The closest we have of players suitable for white ball cricket are Richa Gosh and Shefali in terms of power... rest are all skinny and weak. Did we really expect Amanjot to finish the match? shes like 4'11 and 50kg- how on earth she was meant to slog her way out? We have to identlfy tall strong women who have the power to hit big shots in T20 cricket and then groom them with the right facilities.

Yes like Kiran Navgire. I don't care how technical they are. It's not a technical game anymore especially in T20. SENA country women like men have strong fitness and he power to clear boundaries. On a slow low pitch,it's the brutal strength that can tonk sixes. Clerk hit 4-5 sixes against our trundlers and all the hits cleared the fielders and the ropes. It's laughable the way Aman and Sneh Rana were batting in the last 3 overs.. a disgrace

Aus W are capable of chasing 400 on flat pitches.  This indore wicket has always been flat.

One thing I noti e about Australian battingnis  they use the feet exceptionally well  seamer or spinner  doesn't matter. They make you bowl crap balls with their feet movement. When the bowler goes short they punish you  They constantly mess with you as a bowler. They are far more skilled in that.

Very decisive feet movement from everyone. Also they have good bat speed. Strong hitting base.

Only India has the batting firepower to challenge Australia. But our bowling strategy sucks.
