Human behaviour is fascinating ,nostalgia always finds a way to rewrite the narrative.

 

The same set of people who are harsh on GG today will be the ones cutting him slack in a year or two.

That’s how cycles of sentiment work,criticism fades, nostalgia grows, and suddenly the same voices sound softer. I’ve seen plenty of flippers in this space. They ride their emotions, swinging from one extreme to another.

Not talking about those who were critical of GG from the very beginning,that’s a consistent take. I’m pointing at the ones who bend with the wind, who let nostalgia dictate their judgment. It’s a reminder, memory is selective and emotions drive perception more than facts ever do

I agree with your post. However such gyaan and philosophy is coming out only in GG's case

All coaches and captains have shortcomings, people always will have issues with selections and how coaches could have done better so on and so forth. 

 

The two coaches who I think were the worst are Duncan flecther and GG.Greg rubbed people wrong way but he atleast had some good ideas.

 

Duncan was old and lazy.GG is nothing but bitter and clueless person.

I think John Wright was one of best - instilled discipline as in curfew hours and got comparitively less criticism for selections/tactics despite at that time carrying a weak hand in pace bowling.

Mahodaya I'm not supporting him,context of any post isn't just binary

It lies somewhere between,I think you know it,but still pulling my leg
