PLAN inducted almost the same number of new Naval vassals last year as the entirety of Indian Navy's Naval assets currently operational... Unforeseen level of ship building tbh. Reckon they are going a bit ott here. So Korean Shipbuilding is being propped up by US as a countermeasure to this threat. US no longer has that amount of shipbuilding prowess it once had. Article is goldmine reading about how these MoD Babu's and Jernails self sabotage domestic MIC. Israel is receiving non stop import orders while QRSAM, Rudram Series and Pinaka are ready to be mass produced with little to no orders given. Geopolitical Jaziya to US is still understandable (though not on Stryker) but Israeli lobby must be dismantled if we want our own MIC to succeed.

Lobby is alive and kicking.. infiltration is way too deep. PMO's priorities are different or maybe they are way too influential that one cannot imagine. Post Parrikar and especially Gen Bipin Rawat things aren't ideal. After the passing of late CDS lobby has only grew stronger. Kadi Ninda has to go if they sign the dreaded Stryker deal despite blowback from all corners to not do it.

Import Bahadurs are deeply entrenched within Defence procurement process. In short sarkari corruption, cut commission types that has been happening since ages. Some are in contact with Russians, Americans, Israelis.. They can be retired as well in power corridors.. Yup, missiles and missile launchers..both we need in abundance. More than 1000 of conventional missiles. Agni series can stay in 100s, as its our crown jewel, a nuclear capable missile which is part of our nuclear triad and can cause havoc. On the other side, Prithvi missile is going to get decommissioned soon and replaced by Pralay. Ideally, I would like India to hand it over to Afghanistan to keep the pressure high on Pakistan.
