coffee_rules Posted May 11 Posted May 11 What was the need for? Rajnath Singh to say this in the SCO meet? What was operation Sindoor about?

Think message have been recieved and they wont dare to do any Pahalgham. Now Honest question, What are we to gain attacking Pakistan if we dont occupy some land? Never think that, the kind of radicalization Pooks have...for them hatred against Hindus is their bread and butter. They will do anything to hurt Hindus...irrespective of in their own nation or outside. They are aware that India wont go beyond a threshold, unlike Israel. We did attack on their airbases and Kirana hills..but should have taken one more step ahead and blasted away the Karachi port where there Navy was pinned down. Coming to what we achieve, I agree that now just bashing Pakistan isnt enough, we need to draw boundaries. Specially the region around Thar where we have Hindu majority population wrongfully in the Pakistan side, we have IWT is one hit...other one has to be to do the land grabbing in regions like Amarkot and Nagarparkar.

As long as these are just words for international audience as a "churan"...I am fine. Being a responsible power at times you have to play diplomatic cards. But in actions, we have to be ruthless against Terrorist nation and the religion which these terrorists enter into. Our eastern border & in Konkan region there are so many towns where these illegals infiltrate and become the sleeper cells. Have to "clean up those towns & districts". Use force and throw these illegals in the deep ocean if they dont wanna go back. Even those pooki sympathisers should be thrown to Pookistan forcibly through Munabao border...so that they navigate through the desert in hope of their "beloved" Pookistan to rescue them. coffee_rules 1

As long as India doesn't achieves insurmountable economic and military edge over Pookistan I don't see it happening. Even Vishnu Som had to call Pak militarily as our near peer power... Both import dependent militaries as of yet. India will pull ahead eventually like China did post 2004-5 but how long that takes is not in our hands entirely. Lots of permutations and combinations and chess pieces need to fall in place. There has to be a near Black swan event in between as well to disrupt the global world order. Lone Wolf Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) Chalo Rafale coming as I expected @singhvivek141... We had no other option. Rafale F5 is still far away and we can't wait for it deep into next decade. Rafale F4 was launched in 2022 and I reckon it's good enough. Deliveries to start in 2030 Edited May 14 by Lone Wolf singhvivek141 and G_B_ 1 1

Hopefully this means we can afford to send Su30MKi for upgrades squadron by squadron once Rafales I think under this deal we will also upgrade the existing 35 Rafales to F4 standard. So yeah, from 4.5 Gen POV, these upgrades will be crucial to maintain technical edge. Bas ab Pralay aur P75I ka induction ho jaye...for Pralay anyway we have Prithvi as a backup. But P75I is a massive gap as scorpenes AiP upgrade will take 4-5 years. Edited May 14 by singhvivek141 Lone Wolf 1
rangeelaraja Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 Guys @Lone Wolf , @singhvivek141 This is equivalent to what in India’s arsenal ? A very poor cousin of the surface to surface Brahmos ?

Yeah from the report existing 35 Rafales will get the upgrade to F4 which most have missed Indian defence community can cry as much as they want but both these two deals are necessary and borderline existential for us. IAF, MoD, HAL have collectively messed up and we have nowhere else to go. PAF is already getting few more squadrons of J10c and may get J35's close to 2030's.. so IAF is in dire straits already. singhvivek141 1

A very poor cousin of the surface to surface Brahmos ? It's a Subsonic cruise missile... It's another Babur class missile but for conventional use. Nothing too special Even Chinese don't use them anymore. Our Air defences should deal with them. India doesn't has its own indigenous Subsonic cruise missile operational yet... Nirbhay is in forever testing phase. But Fatah 3 is a different matter, it's supersonic like Brahmos and is directly Chinese HD-1 derivative. rangeelaraja 1

rangeelaraja Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 (edited) But if Fatah 3 is > 2.5 Mach per the above tweet ? How could Fatah 4 be subsonic ? What makes it different I wonder - longer range ? ^ @Lone Wolf Edited May 14 by rangeelaraja

Fatah 4 they are saying 700km range and indigenous ka churan plus will be assembled within Pookland at decent scale with sensitive components from China circumventing MTCR Edited May 14 by Lone Wolf singhvivek141 and rangeelaraja 2

Supersonic and Hypersonics...they aren't that stealthy due to their massive heat..but they are super quick and their kinetic energy is massive. Basically, by the time you see them, you're toast in seconds. Subsonic ones are cheaper to build. Supersonic & Hypersonic ones are costly. rangeelaraja 1

Govt actually missed 2 things...partially coz of indigenous failures 1. Ordering more Rafales after 2016...probably they were banking heavily on Tejas mk1a and Tejas mk2 to come to life. Expecting Tejas mk1a by 2022 and Tejas mk2 by 2024...neither happened. 2. Ordering more Scorpenes...Once the initial deal was under delivery, they could have ordered more. Again the miss was AIP development delay by DRDO....else we should have had all 6 AIP enabled scorpenes floating through. Hence this forced them to look for proven AIP tech which only Germany was providing. Even now the French AIP isnt very capable. We are anyway spending massive amount of Navy budget on SSBN. Although, thats our doomsday plan and one hope we never use it ever, and the plan is to expand the numbers to 8-10. Which means, atleast 2 more SSBNs will also be manufactured, once the current 2 S5 class SSBNs construction gets over.
