Let me give you the logic for this: It is RPS so you need decent amount of spin overs. You could replace Arshdeep with Kuldeep and go with the AC lineup. But here is where the TM might differ. In all three AC matches, Farhan had decent knocks and gave them good PPs. Farhan also took a liking to Bumrah. Considering it is RPS, the PP might determine the game. Farhan does have a weakness towards left arm pace so Arshdeep is a good match up in PP. Considering the slow nature and big boundaries, Sundar can do a decent holding job, if not the wicket taking of Kuldeep. Rinku is anyways weak vs spin. Sundar is also a decent bat so you will still have batting till 8. Also frees up overs for Bumrah at the death. TLDR version: Use Arshdeep to get the openers out in PP and then use spin choke in the middle overs and Bumrah at death. Alternative is the AC lineup with Bumrah as sole pacer but fear is they might get too far ahead in the PP before Kuldeep does damage control in middle overs. Expect Rinku to be back for Netherlands. This is similar to India using Ashwin for the first 2023 WC match vs Aus. Edited February 12 by deathmonger

We have now Rinku in place of Jadeja which actually is one bowler short side by side 2024 2026 Kohli / Ishan Rohit/ Abhishek Pant / Tilak Sky / Sky Pandya / Pandya Dube / Dube Jadeja / Rinku Axar / Axar Bumrah / Bumrah Arshdeep / Arshdeep Kuldeep / Varun so basically if you see the 2024 final winning squad they had 5 genuine bowlers plus Dube Pandya. Now we have one less. If Sundar replaces Rinku suddenly we have 5 genuine options without much weakening the batting.
