Lately it has become a place where you think you are the best in the world.

The algorithm promotes the content that is your echo chamber.

People are in infinite self serving feedback loop and are losing ability for debate.

Musk must be spanked hard for this travesty.

For example,.if you are a nationalist and on twitter, you are fed with ONLY positive news about India. You become cock-headed and declare that we are already a vishwaguru.

On the other hand if you are a blackpiller, twitter promotes ONLY negative news about India in your feed. The constant stream of negative news makes you a grumbling pessimist.

Yeah man. It is comical.

The nationalist accounts have become full on cock headed.

The blackpiller accounts declare that india has already crashed lower than somalia.

What a travesty.

The greatest place on twitter is that retarded aravind guy. He made many  reasonable nationalists into Pakistani level conspiracy theorists..

That guy will call an upset stomach as a conspiracy to defame road side food.

And people everywhere, including here, were ballyhooing that Mr. Deer-scent was only doing it to protect our freedoms of speech.

It does give a escape from the church of political correctness. But we only escape to a tavern with outrage, fights and ramblings of drunken fools. :wall::wall::wall::wall:

People have lost the ability for the old fashioned debate. And virtues of empathy to dissent. If this goes on for long, our offline political debates are going to be like pigs fighting in gutter.

The problem is you guys who pay too much attention to opinions on Twitter. Pay attention to facts being reported, real-time incidents being reported in tweets.

I use it to track incidents and sometimes atrocities against Hindus happening in entire south asia, not just in Bangladesh.

Why are you stuck with sh*tty opinions when there's actual ground situation and verifiable incidents with names, pictures, vids etc. being shown in Twitter?

The problem is with you. And infact, twitter is a huge boon.

You have ENTIRELY missed the point.

The issue is not with facts. It is the facts that align to your beliefs that twitter feeds you . It makes your brain ossified and highly un-eminable to the debate with opposite POV

No I did not. There is the sheer volume of incidents happening on a daily basis which should open your eyes.

You have 1 incident where the roles are reversed and the media amplifies it 10 times that you can't miss it.

Abhi to debate seek kar rahe ho....but everyone has seen several instances that when the numbers/strength are not in the favour of sanatanis, there is no place for a debate.

This is the one platform which shows you things as they are. You should be thankful for it.

Of course I acknowledged that it can give non-PC info.  I am not even remotely thinking of banning it. It is a great platform to collect facts.

But the algorithm needs changing.

it just feeds me facts that align with my though process and hides ones that are against,.

For example, if you are a Bhim boy, it just feeds you the news of atrocities on dalits and hides the ones where dalits were appreciated for good work. This makes the bhim boy into a kattar bhimta. he will bray for brahmin bolld.

If you are nationalist, it feeds you with almost all important positive news about India. That will make the nationalist delusional into thinking that we have already arrived.

If you are a islamist, it feeds you with news on atrocities on muslims in india and hides you the news where they were appreciated and given good life. This will make that guy a kattar aatanvaadi.

I hope you can see the long term danger. Everyone is becoming a extremist.

It is not just Twitter. My leftist friend has leftist videos (ravish type) recommendations on YouTube. If they don't do it, the danger for these apps is that users will shift to whichever app that does it.

There are 1. Replies to the tweets where people can give counter views. 2.Ask @grok etc. to factcheck. In today's world, propaganda gets exposed to whoever who wishes to dig deep only slightly.

Nothing can be perfact but Twitter is the closest thing to being perfact.
